GUIDE FOR THE DIAGNOSIS AND PERIODIC EVALUATION OF WIND FARMS

The objective of the Guide is to establish in a systematized manner the recommendations for the supervision of wind farms throughout their life and addresses the scope and work plan of the procedures to be followed. The ultimate goal is to maximise the life and performance of the facilities, at the lowest possible cost and maintaining health and safety conditions at the wind farms at all times.

• life extension: the aim is to check that the state of the machines is adequate for safe operation until the next inspection date.
